About Us

H.O.M.I.E.S Inc. is expanding to Los Angeles to work with the LA Unified School District (LAUSD) for the 2022-2023 academic school year. As H.O.M.I.E.S Inc. continues to establish itself within the city of LA, we are looking to partner with multiple LAUSD K-12 schools, and with Black students and professionals from around the city. Just as H.O.M.I.E.S Inc. has found success in partnering Black students with young Black professionals in Philadelphia, we hope to find that same success within the Los Angeles community.

Serving as the organization's home city, H.O.M.I.E.S Inc. was founded in Philadelphia in 2022 by two Drexel undergraduate students. H.O.M.I.E.S Inc. has partnered with the great staff and many students of Masterman High School, where successful mentor-mentee relationships had been established throughout the 2021-2022 academic year. Looking ahead, we hope to partner with more K-12 schools within the Philadelphia Unified School District and to continue building meaningful mentor-mentee relationships
